Has anyone seen the new look facebook (just log in normally then type new.facebook.com) I don’t like it, and it looks horrible on a wide size screen that I have. Wonder when it is going to change over? Plus I was sure they said there were going to get rid of the adverts, but they are still there???

Yep my blog holds another lil celebration, this is the 101st blog post, well nearly two celebrations actually; with 50 more views and Wahooiness will be also celebrating 4000 views. I started this over 6 months ago, and I am pretty impressed with what I have done. I have even started putting lil pictures to accompany my blog writing (a major achievement, I was so impressed with myself). I don’t get bad views either, about 50 a day, which I think is good 
especially you guys or girls are reading what I write.
So I am going to have a cup of errr milk and some biscuits to celebrate (well it is 11.30pm). If you have any suggestions of what else I can do, just send us a email; elle@cityintheclouds.net and I will reply or even if you want to ask me anything (within reason I may add!!!)
While being on annual leave I have got back into my morning routine of having brekki and watching tv (it all starts at 9.15 and ends at 3 :$ is that bad?) Anyway, I have just got into a series called Without a Trace, and I can’t believe I haven’t watched it before now properly. I know More4 are just repeating the older episodes, but I have really got into it.
Upon doing some research to find out what series I am currently watching, I have found out it started back in 2002!!!! Jeez I didn’t think it was that old and now is on its sixth series. It turns out I am currently watching series 3, but wiki has finally let me down with searching for re caps on what has been going on during series 4-6 *sigh* But that won’t stop me, I am determined to find out. Wonder when a new series will begin to be shown?
EDIT: turns out series 5 was being shown on channel 4 Fridays at 9pm, but the last episode entitled “The Beginning” was on tonight, but I didn’t see it grrrr. I wish I had known this news earlier. I am sooo annoyed.
Woohoo, series 6 is going to start soon and by the look of it, it seems to be a brilliant series. I will keep you informed when we can expect to see this series on channel 5 (yes I know some of you may have seen it on Sky or cable or whatever you have) but for some of us we don’t have it, and have to wait till it is on “normal” tv. But I can’t wait, after CSI: New York finished and CSI: Las Vegas. If any of these series stopped, I don’t know where I would be lol.
CSI just won’t be the same 
William Petersen has announced he is to reduce his appearances on CSI: Las Vegas, and instead of being a regular character, he will only be making odd guest appearances in the next series I am so gutted about this news, as you may of guessed, I am a major avid fan of the series.
His departure will apparently be during the 10th series. Whilst leading up to his departure, according to the executives, several characters will be returning (hmm wonder who that will be.) Apparently it will be Sara (his girlfriend, who I wish would get together with Greg), Lady Heather and also the miniature killer, oooh. Lol.
Gil Grissom’s departure will be as a result of all the loss he has experienced recently, and he contemplates the next phases of his life. A new male character will be brought him, but I have doubts all ready. With Gil and Warrick out, is the original series of CSI likely to go downhill dramatically? Can you believe it is 8 years old? I still remember the first ever episode.
Argggggggggggh there are so many good films out at the moment I want to see, yet no-one will take me to the cinema. But its not for the lack of trying, maybe its just my company they don’t want. Hmm, feel sad now
Six months ago, Apple announced their plans to cut the price of downloading from its current 79p in the UK. Now its reversed its decision to do this, and I have to say, I am extremely disappointed in Apple. With the current credit crunch, I saw this decision as a company who was trying to make things easier on us all, as well as to welcome legal downloading.
As it stands currently, the 79p (for a single track) is more expensive than if you were downloading the same song in the US, unfairness I think so! They pay just 49p ($0.99 or 0.62 euros.) Its all related to the exchange rate. Six months ago 79p to the euros equalled 74p, but with the credit crunch, it now works out exactly 79p. The euro in six months has risen to that of the Pound. Making Apple no longer need to lower the price, as the exchange rate has ineffectively done it for them. But if this continues (which is more than likely to do so at the current economic rate) would we end up paying more. Apple didn’t comment on this situation.
All I know is that if the 79p cost to download rises anymore, I certainly won’t be buying any tracks from Apple, as I currently do.
Apparently Grand Theft Auto makers, Rockstar, are making the game (well a new version) come to Nintendo DS, with Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Hmmm. I would be interested to see how this game would look on the DS as well as how you would interact with the cars and characters. It is expected to be released later this year; winter time Dependant upon the price, I may get this game, as I already have GTA: Liberty cities on my PSP.
If you have the Disney Chanel ( you very lucky people) you will get to see the first trailer of the upcoming film being shown hourly. The new film, titled, High School Musical: Senior Year will be least on 24th October later this year. I can’t believe how massive this franchise has been; 3 movies, a musical in the West End, and all sorts of merchandise, since the first film was released back in January 2006. Filming has also already started on High School Musical 4!!! I believe this francise is going to be around for many more years to come.
I didn’t realise how popular this group were, or their album in any case. It has already become double platinum (selling 600,000 records since its release). Duffy still remains this years greatest seller though, see my previous post on her HERE.
Well after the current series of Australian Big Brother finishes this month, there will be no more series in Australia, the lucky things. In the Australian house at the moment, Pamela Anderson is currently making a guest appearance. So can anyone tell me why can’t the UK series finish this year as well???

Grrrr this is all I can say about this artist, her voice just irritates and grinds me, very very annoying. But can you believe she is about to become the first ever female artist to sell 1 million albums? Pffft is all I can say. This is one artist upon hearing her music on the tv or the radio, it immediately gets flicked off. I will never allow this artist on my iPod at all.
Her debut album spent 5 weeks at number 1, with the single Mercy being the biggest selling single of the year as of yet. I hope it doesnt get record of the year or even a BRIT or anything like that.
Can you believe it; after a 8 hour plus transmission live on BBC1 last night, Nadal finally beat Federer. The longest tennis men’s championship match ever apparently. I have never seen such a nail biting match in my life, the amount of times I was hiding behind my cushion. Trust English weather to play its part though, and interrupted the match as often as it could.
What I did find annoying during the match, when rain stopped play is the BBC showed a documentary of Federer, about being a champion, erm what about Nadal and any documentary about him? I kind of felt sorry for him, having to listen to everyone cheering Federer on. Before Wimbledon, I hadn’t even heard about Nadal. There were some amazing shots being shown by the BBC, and I don’t just mean the tennis :p tehe.
The other amazing match I watched was the junior tennis final. I must say a massive congratulations to Laura Robson, what a amazing player she is, and well deserved. Still can’t believe she is only 14, and is representing Britain woopa. She is defo worth keeping an eye on, as if that win was anything to go by, we are only just starting to hear of her. Good luck Laura.
I bought this game for my Nintendo DS last week, just because I was curious how the different games would help improve your brain capacity. After it told me my first score (which I’m too embarrassed to say what it was) I defo needed the game to try and improve. After a week of playing on the game, I am happy to say that I have improved immensely.
I have played it every day, and even started to complete the Suduko as well. New games have been added to my programme, as you collect a stamp a day every day you train. I am also quite surprised with how different the games are; musical, money, symbols, word jumble. Sometimes I am even surprised with myself how I do. I try to do it at different times in the day; I have found the later I do it, the worst I perform lol, which I know maybe common sense, but I would thought I would try an experiment.
I will tell you my score tomorrow on my training so far; as I have a headache at the moment, and sick of my DS. I have been on it for most of the day, neglecting my training :$

After Slyvia’s eviction last Friday, it seems there is a new added twist to this weeks eviction. After either Jennifer or Rex are evicted from the Big Brother House, 3 new female contestants will enter. These are supposedly to replace Alexandra and Dennis who were thrown out of the house earlier in the series.
Is it just me or is this getting out of control? I hate Big Brother, and hope it won’t be shown next year.
Since the final of the eighth series of Friends, there has been many rumours saying there would be a film coming soon. More recently these rumours have been heightened after seeing the major success of the Sex and the City film.
I would love for there to be a new series, instead of a movie. Finger crossed at the 10 year anniversary of it ending there will be something special lined up.
Yep tonight we also see the second of the third part episode. Can’t wait to see if Meredith is found, or what is up with that little girl. To re-cap what happened in the first of the three partner, click HERE.

This episode starts with the view of the water where we last saw Meredith falling into, we see her briefly surface gasping for air, but finally sinks again. She is also the voice over for the beginning speech. Alex is feeling overwhelmed dealing with the victims families, all wanting to know if they are in the hospital, but everyone is anxious as the lack of identification only creates more frustration for the family. In the light of this, Alex comes up with the spontaneous idea of taking pictures of the patients, but even this doesn’t satisfy the families, as they still complain their loved ones are not up on the identification board. A man comes up to Alex unable to locate his pregnant wife. Alex rushes to inform Addison that their pregnant patient may have a identity. Addison states that Alex must thoroughly make sure that this pregnant lady is definitely the mans wife, to avoid giving hope to the man if she isn’t.
George continues to lie to the patient, who he promised to locate her son, in order to get her to agree to surgery. Bailey becomes furious at this, by telling him he has made a promise that he doesn’t know if he can keep, and sends him to find the boy. George looks in the hospital, everywhere he can think of, until he bumps into Alex who takes him to the morgue. George still can’t find the boy, even in the morgue, but they do stumble upon a body of a pregnant lady. George finally checks the OR board as a final resort, only to find out that his wife is operating upon a little boy. Callie confirms to George this is the boy he is looking for, and George goes on to embarrass them both when he informs the entire OR what he is going to do to Callie that night. Callie cuts him off, and tells him she is working.
Alex brings a photo of his pregnant woman patient, maintaining that her injuries may make her a little unrecognisable, but the man states this isn’t his wife. He secondly shows him the photo of the morgue patient, and the man confirms that the photo is his wife, and collapses in a fit of tears. Alex finds Addison and says that their pregnant lady is still a Jane Doe. Leading Addison to question would anyone notice if she was to disappear, and Alex says he would.
Izzie is at the end with her patience, while dealing with the patient trapped under the car. She calls the Chief for instructions. Mark and the Chief talk Izzie through the procedure of making burr holes (holes in a patients skull to relieve the cranium pressure) with a ordinary drill. I have seen this in real life, it is amazing procedure to watch. Izzie does it successful, and her patient is finally transported to the hospital, and is let in the OR to perform a crainotomy by making burr holes, with a surgical drill. The Chief also informs her she is finally off probation.
Cristina is still suturing patients, awaiting Meredith’s return to inform her about her engagement. Cristina worries when all the other interns return, bar Meredith, and no-one knows where she is. Burke questions Cristina where she is so anxious to tell Meredith their news, and she tells him Meredith is “her” person, and it also makes their news official.
Merediths patient is located by rescue workers, but still she is nowhere to be found. Derek finds the little girl, who he saw following Meredith earlier, and asks her where Meredith is. Silently she points to the water, and with that Derek rushes into it, and finds her pale and not breathing. He performs CPR on route to the hospital, but there is no still no response from her.
Derek is told by the Chief to leave the trauma room, while the Chief, Burke and Addison work together to try and save Meredith, with Derek waiting outside, with Mark next to him. Mark puts his hands on Derek, to give him support. Aww how sweet.
All the interns are told about Meredith and rush to the trauma room. Cristina tries to go inside, but Izzie stops her, and states Meredith will survive this, as Izzie believes in the good; that Denny is always with her and George getting married to Callie, was a massive mistake.
Meredith finally flat lines, and we see her sit upright gasping for air. She is in a empty room, and sees Dylan Young (the guy who was blown up while undetonating the shell in a previous episode) and goes on to ask him if she is dead. Denny states she is.
It sounds like another unmissable episode, so don’t forget to tune in tonight to watch it.
I seem to have only really gotten into the series of House this year, and tonight sees the final episode of series of the fourth season. Tonight we see Wilson and House find Amber in a comatose state, they transfer her to the hospital. But during the ride, she goes into atrial fibrillation. Wilson suggests that instead of shocking her heart into sinus rhythm, they place Amber into a produce hypothermic state, whilst on bypass; so this gives House the ability to diagnose her.
House orders a tox screen, while others go and investigate her house for clues as to her condition. The team discover amphetamines, and as a result they need to find out if one of her heart valves is calcified. Before the test, Chase notices jaundice in Amber’s eye, a indicator for liver failure; which in turn rules out the pills as a cause.
House and Wilson return to the bar, that House went to before the bus accident, to question him whether he remembers any symptoms Amber experience. The bartender recalls Amber sneezing. Leading to House making a diagnosis of Hep B.
House then suffers an hallucination; where Amber climbs out of her bed to show House she has a rash on her back (which doesn’t fit the diagnosis of Hep B.) Taub then makes a diagnosis of influenza, while Wilson suspects Rocky Mountain fever, caused by a tick bite a couple of weeks before the accident. Wilson also tells the team that they cannot start Amber’s heart until they are 100% sure of the correct diagnosis. Thirteen draws blood on herself to test herself for Huntington’s disease.
Foreman reads Amber’s record, and states she cannot remain on bypass for much longer, so going against Wilson’s advice, they begin to start warming up Amber’s body to reverse her hypothermic state. Reading her EEG, it shows that her illness is further spreading to her brain, leading House to suspect it is an autoimmune disease. Whereas Wilson believes it is a result of some sort of infection. House orders steroids to be prescribed, and Wilson states that these could potentially kill her.
House wants to discover his memories, so asks Wilson to perform deep brain stimulation on him, to help him discover the truth. During the procedure, he discovers he went to the bar to get drunk and the bartender took his cars in exchange for a friend to be called and pick him up. He phones Wilson, who is on call, so Amber answers and comes to get him and sneezes in the bar. He refuses to get in the car with Amber, and goes to get on the bus…but he leaves his cane so Amber gets on the bus to return it to him.
While on the bus she sneezes again, and mentions she has influenza, and has pills to prove it. But the bus accident has left her with kidney damage, meaning her body couldn’t filter the pills. Wilson suggests to put her on dialysis, but House rejects the idea saying that drugs she is on will bind to proteins, meaning dialysis wouldn’t work in this case.
House then proceeds to suffer a seizure and finally slips into a coma. The team discuss finding a donor for Amber, but her organs are severely damaged. Amber is weaned off the anaesthesia, and Wilson prepares to say goodbye, who goes on to die in his arms. Aww
While being in his coma, House dreams of him and Amber on the bus. He tells Amber, that she has died yet he doesn’t want to leave the bus, as he doesn’t feel any emotion on the bus, and lastly he doesn’t want Wilson to hate him. After Amber talks House round, he leaves the bus, with the camera showing House with no limp nor a cane. Awakening from his coma, Cuddy is next to him. Whilst Thirteen has tested positive for Huntington’s.
Wilson returns home, the first time since Amber dies, and finds her note telling him she has gone to pick House up. We return to House, who is in bed contemplating, with Cuddy asleep next to him, holding his hand. Aww.
It sounds such an emotional episode, tugging at the old heart strings. Cant wait to watch the episode.
